MySense door sensors are triggered by motion and vibration and send data securely to the MySense home hub to understand activity levels, regularity and frequency of movement, and habit.
Door sensors are placed in two parts:
- one piece of the sensor on the doorframe and,
- the other piece on the door itself.
The sensors should be placed close together so that when the door is closed both sensor parts line up side by side. Opening the door will separate the two sensor points and trigger the sensor.
MySense includes two (2) door sensors recognisable by a sticker placed on each sensor:

Door sensors are powered by two AAA batteries located inside the larger half of the sensor.
